The Finance function is part of our Business Services Team (BST). The members of the Finance teams work in the areas of accounting and controlling, planning and analysis, tax, payroll accounting, financial systems, and purchasing. They support our consultant teams in the market, monitor and manage the financial processes, and prepare decision documents.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a service-oriented Junior Financial Analyst, you'll provide accounting and analytical support to the CEMA Regional Office and the DigitalBCG Accelerator Systems (DAS). As such, you'll play an integral role in the CEMA Regional Finance Team and will be primarily responsible for a variety of tasks in the areas of accounting, reporting, including a particular focus on new digital tools, and processes.
This position is built around teamwork and meeting customers' needs. As CEMA Junior Financial Analyst, you will be teaming with local Finance teams, other regional functions, Global Accounting & Control and the Finance Systems Group. The work is fast-paced, technically challenging, and highly visible. Due to your open-minded, curious nature, you'll enjoy working in a virtual team located in different countries and time zones.
You'll provide analytical support to the CEMA Region (approximately 5,000 people, 3,500 of which are Consulting Team members in 33 offices), with a particular focus on digitized reporting and accounting.

You'll be based in the Global Services Munich office, working closely with your CEMA Regional Finance Team based in that office as well as with the remote team members in the Nordics, reporting into Dimitris Xenakis, CEMA Finance Senior Manager. Collaboration in the team is characterized by respect, acceptance, and mutual trust. Your manager will assist you in familiarizing yourself with the company and developing professionally. You will also always be able to draw upon the experience of your other colleagues.

YOUR PROFILE

YOU’RE GOOD AT

• You're eager to actively drive the development and design of reporting tools. This includes, but is not limited to, the defining of data sources and output and leveraging the full suite of BCG's reporting and analysis tools.
• Thanks to your excellent analytical capabilities, you work with numbers accurately, dependably, and with ease.
• Based on your academic background, you want to push the envelope in advancing forecasting models and applying latest methodologies.
• You're flexible, reliable and motivated, and you keep a cool head even in difficult situations.
• You have an independent, structured and precise work style, and consistently deliver high quality.
• Absolute integrity and trustworthiness are second nature to you.
• Above-average service orientation combined with a competent and professional manner enable you to win over both internal and external stakeholders alike.
• You love working as part of a team and coming up with creative ideas together.

YOU BRING

• You have a relevant master's degree, or similar level.
• You have already gained initial experience with digital finance topics during internships, preferably in a service-oriented company and/or in one of the "Big 4" companies.
• You're proficient in the MS Office suite, especially Excel. Ideally, you also have experience with advanced analysis systems like BusinessObjects Analysis, Tableau, and/or Alteryx.
• Your written and spoken English language skills are excellent.
